Overview
We are one of the most significant alternative investment managers in the public U.S. corporate credit markets. From 2020 to 2022 we doubled our investment team, expanded into five new strategies and made meaningful investments in research and technology.
The primary products we trade include corporate bonds, convertible bonds, credit default swaps, credit index, bank loans and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).

Team Leadership
Pablo Salame
Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Global Credit & Convertibles
Pablo Salame joined Citadel in 2019 as Head of Global Credit & Convertibles. Under his leadership, the team scaled and diversified its strategies, achieving significant growth. In 2022, he was also appointed Co-Chief Investment Officer of Citadel, focusing on building our global strategies and helping to develop our people. Pablo serves on Citadel’s Portfolio Committee.
Prior to joining Citadel, Pablo spent 22 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as Vice Chairman of the firm and Co-Head of the Global Markets Division. His previous roles included Co-Head of Global Credit, Head of European Equities Trading and Global Co-Head of Emerging Market Debt.
Pablo is a member of the external advisory board of the Carney Institute for Brain Science and the advisory board of the Billie Jean King Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
